Follow the coffee route of Matagalpa located in the North of the country.
In this Tour we will head to Matagalpa city central plaza, visit the local Coffee Museum then watch a local make her black ceramic pottery original from Matagalpa.

Visit two beautiful waterfalls that are part of the river Grande of Matagalpa. To end the day will have a bon fire and listen to a serenade of guitarist playing Nicaraguan Music while enjoying marsh mellows around a bon fire.

The farm’s high elevation, 4000 ft. (1200 m) make a cool, green, and tranquil oasis and a paradise for travelers seeking beautiful sunsets, refreshing climate, peaceful moments, delicious food, and many recreational and educational activities. Finca Esperanza Verde is a Private Forest Reserve and a Certified Organic, shade grown coffee farm with wet tropical forests and nature trails.

The farm is a “community based” tourism project in which all earnings stay in the community, promoting a sustainable source of income for San Ramón and for the conservation of the natural environment.

Selva Negra coffee plantation:

 

An excellent place for peace and tranquility.
Located 131 km from the capital it holds the greatest place in Nicaragua to learn about the coffee process. It is a romantic rain forest which holds trails for hiking or horse back riding.
